1. What is Chanakya Toy Library and whom is it meant for?
Chanakya Toy Library is a Walk in and Online Toy library with a wide range of branded toys of International repute. It is meant exclusively for kids of age group from 1.5 to 8 years old.
2. How do I join/become a member of Chanakya Toy Library?
a) Join Online: This is a simple 5 step process
II. Choose your membership plan.
III. Browse through the catalogue and select toy(s).
IV. Receive them at your door step (Home delivery).
V. Make the payment at the time of delivery.
b) Join through Email: Just send us an email at email@example.com with your name and phone number and we will be happy to register you.
3. What forms of payment do you accept?
Chanakya Toy Library accepts payment by Cash only.
4. Do I need to pay any deposit, to become a member?
Yes, we do keep a security deposit which is refundable. The deposit amount depends on the membership plan taken by you.
5. What is the mode of Delivery and Pick-up?
Chanakya Toy Library makes the whole process completely hassle free by providing delivery / pick-up service right at your door step.
6. How do I replace/renew a toy?
It’s quite simple. Just give us a call ,mention the Toy code which you want for next week and membership ID.
7. Can I replace/renew only one out of two or three toys borrowed by me?
Yes, you can replace /renew only one out of two or three, but points of the toys kept will be added for the next week
8. When can I expect to receive the toy ordered by me?
We will be delivering toy(s) in evening as soon as possible (Time: 7Pm to 10Pm).
9. How long can I keep the rented toy(s)?
You can keep the toy(s) for a maximum period of 7 days.
10. Can I change my membership plan?
Yes, once your current membership term period is over, you can enrol for any other membership plan of your choice.
11. Is there any fine, if I do not renew my membership plan by the due date?
Your subscription expires at the end of the term period of your current membership plan or once you have availed all the circulations entitled to you based on your current membership plan, whichever is earlier. You can renew your subscription, 7 days before the expiry of the current plan and upto 2 days after the expiry of the last plan, without any late renewal fee. If you fail to renew your subscription within the above said period, then a late renewal fee of Rs.100/- plus Rs. 10/- per day per toy will be charged to you.
12. What are Circulations?
Circulations are the total number of times a member can exchange toy(s) during the term period. Maximum 4 circulations within a month or maximum limit of points reached.
13. What if I lose or damage a borrowed toy?
Chanakya Toy Library has carefully selected toys of reputed brands, which are robust and have less number of moving parts. However, in the unlikely event of any damage to the toy or any part getting lost, the cost of repair/replacement of the part/entire toy will have to be borne by the member.
14. What if I receive a damaged toy?
Though we try our best to deliver the toy in a proper working condition, please ensure that you check the toy(s) thoroughly at the time of delivery and report, any damage, to our representative there and then. Once the toy is delivered, the entire responsibility of the toy is that of the member.
15. What procedure do you follow for ensuring safety and hygiene?
At Chanakya Toy Library, your child’s health and safety is our prime concern. All our toys are procured from reputed brands that follow stringent safety procedures. In addition to this, we ensure that after each use, the toys are cleaned, before they are deemed ready for the next circulation.
16. Do I need to clean the toys before returning them?
Chanakya Toy Library believes in eco friendly concept where toys are reused among members. Though we clean each toy after every use, we would appreciate if you could send back neat and clean toys.
17. Do you have a Trial plan?
Chanakya Toy Library offers you a Trial plan, so that you can get a feel of the added value we bring to your child, before you sign up for the longer association.
18. Can I gift Chanakya Toy Library membership?
Yes, Just give us a call.
19. Do you offer Referral benefits?
Yes, we have a referral program. If you give us a valid reference, 5 points will be added to your current active plan.
20. What is your Refund policy?
There is no refund given for Registration fee and Subscription (rental) fee. Only the Security deposit is refundable at the time of discontinuation of membership.
21. What happens to my security deposit, if I decide to discontinue my membership?
At Chanakya Toy Library, we are always working to serve our members in a better way. Still if you decide to discontinue your association with us, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the reason for the same. Make sure you return the toy(s) borrowed by you and we will refund the security deposit within 7 working days. The refund would be given cash/cheque in the name of the member.
22. What if the toy I am looking for is not there in toy catalogue?
At Chanakya Toy Library, we are continuously updating our library with new innovative toys, which help your child enrich his/her learning experience. In case you don’t find what you are looking for, please send us the complete details of the toy by clicking on the ‘Suggest a Toy’ link.
